BLK, the Match Group relationship application for Black singles, hosted an unique retreat to examine the characteristics of Black Brotherhood. Named ‘Brotherhood Reimagined’, the retreat was created up of a series of workshops and discussions which centered on vulnerability, identification, and additional.

It also included two workshops ‘Imposter Syndrome’ and ‘Bridging Masculinity’, with Jones expressing that “through these clear workshops, we ended up in a position to screen vulnerability, clearly show emotion, and convey ourselves in ways that haven’t been customarily acknowledged in society”.
Jones concludes that “Until [the retreat], the way I defined getting a guy was rigid, and even ignorant at occasions.
